Introduction

At the heart of the new CUPRA Formentor VZ5 lies the iconic 2.5-litre TSI five-cylinder engine, delivering 390PS (287kW) and 480Nm of torque, and for the first time, limits on its top speed removed. Paired with a seven-speed DSG dual-clutch transmission and 4Drive all-wheel drive system, the VZ5 offers precision power distribution across all wheels – including lateral torque control for enhanced cornering stability.

The new VZ5’s exterior design is a masterclass in performance aesthetics. Wider wheel arches, a newly sculpted front bumper, and a front splitter engraved with “VZ5” signal its intent from every angle. Black carbon fibre side mirror covers (optional) add stealth and sophistication, while the diagonal copper-accented exhaust tips reinforce its racing-inspired character.

So basically its a carbon clad VZ3 "Asbo" :ROFLMAO:
Kinda makes next years ABT redundant cos you are taking this all day long over the ABT performance and crass styling package...

I'm gonna say this is gonna be around £65k minimum to put it in line with what a modern day RSQ3 would cost!

Any news on the launch/order date yet anyone . I was told March but no particular idea what date

Suspect they are still on one of those prohibited to say anything if it's happened. There will be a press pack issued. The launches sometimes get leaked on YouTube by people that dont follow press lock down. If I haven't got my wires crossed they are being wined and dined in Spain or somewhere. Of yes it's the Cupra Ravel... just check the spelling probably talk about other stuff. Suspect Cupra were covering other models.

Spoke to 2 dealers today trying to find a price, both reported back a price of around £58-59K from the little info coming through but there is already alot of interest in them
Also asked how this would affect the ABT prices and (yet again) they both said the ABT would be considerably cheaper than the VZ5 even with the premium on the parts being fitted being around £6k.

I'm not sure what kinda price a VZ3 can be got for in 2026 but if I had north of £53k (which is the minimum I can see the ABT retailing for) and the VZ5 is only a few thousand more then I know what I'm going for :ROFLMAO:

I looked up the current list price of my car (VZ2 - 333ps) yesterday. With the metallic paint and sunroof it's about £53,500.

Yeah - I just priced up my VZ3 but in Dark Void instead of black and its £57k or £47.4k via Drive the Deal

Not sure Cupra will allow orders of the VZ5 via the aformentioned car discount sites but it will be interesting to see!

That suggests you might be able to give Cupra a fair amount over £60k for a VZ5, if you try hard enough?
