Hello,
I own a Cupra Leon 204hp plug-in hybrid from 03/2025, and when I'm in Hybrid mode with the gasoline engine running, the gasoline engine no longer shuts down to switch to full electric mode, with the message "Electric mode is not currently available. Possible reasons: speed too high or insufficient battery charge." The battery has 50% remaining, and I'm driving less than 90 km, even when stop.
I have no warning light.
I've driven more than 20 km on gasoline, the engine is hot, there's no air conditioning or heating, and I have to turn the engine off when stop to switch back to electric mode.
Air temperature 20°C
With the instant fuel consumption display, I see both engines running.
Is this an electronic bug?
Also, I can't schedule battery charging (the option isn't present on the display).
This option is available on Cupras delivered today.
Is there an update?
