Hi Guys!

Fitted a Milltek 3" downpipe + De cat with 2.75" Cat back (non res) last weekend. Might i add what a complete pain in the backside!!

Since fitted it doesn't seem as willing to pull lower down the rev range

It may just be my imagination but it feels like it takes FOREVER to boost up now :(

Anyone else had this kinda problem fitting a DP / De-Cat?

Guessing now the exhaust isn't quite as restrictive its gonna take that little bit longer to spool up :(

Nah it's the opposite, it should spool up faster as there's less back pressure allowing the turbo to spool faster - that's the point of them, faster flowing gases.

It should be the opposite, though if you've fitted it without any other mods you wouldn't notice a great deal of difference power wise.

Are you sure there's no leaks etc? No lights on the dash? ECU probably won't like the gases that are going through the exhaust, but that usually just puts a light on the dash and doesn't affect performance..

It kinda feels like it does completely the opposite at the moment to be honest

It seems to spool up slower but then pulls like a train once you've got it spooling!!

Top end is faultless :p

It had a 2.75" Cat Back on it before

Other than than....

-ITG panel filter
-Forge 008 recirc valve
-Stage 2 Jabbasport remap

Used a lambda spacer and had no codes come up on dash.
