Yeah I'd be surprised normal wear and tear would be impacting it at 9k. But worth checking in case something has failed.

Agreed, my Stinger was pulling to the left due to a warped rotor catching the callipers. It was more noticeable under breaking so easy to diagnose but the car had only done 4.5K miles.. To the OP: As per usual there's a list to follow when trying to figure out issues like this in order of most likely.

- Tyre pressures

- Wheel Alignment / Tyre's, problem is if your car has been misaligned and run for a while it can damage the tyre's which causes.. You guessed it pulling to one side. Same goes for tyre pressures due to uneven wear and some tyre's just aren't that great..

- Brake issues (like a stuck calliper / seized pins, the latter will definitely cause issues)

- Suspension components (rods, joints, bushes etc.), happens more than you'd think due to our lovely roads / pot holes..

- Faulty wheel bearing (usually you'd hear a grinding noise first, happened on two of my old Mondeo's)

- Steering rack / linkage / sensors (rare but I have a rack replaced after 3K miles)

Note: Bigger tyre's with stiffer suspension do have a habit of tram-lining, whilst what you've described seems a bit more severe than normal it's a cumulative effect hence if there's something wrong it does make it feel worse. That being said my Cupra MK4 300 on 19's wasn't all that bad..

Update for you all.....

I took the car to a trusted garage that I know having had to wait for a while and got the 4 wheel allignment redone on their Hunter Hawkeye machine.

Initial measurements were showing camber and toe to be off both front and back. It was suggested that the garage I took it to only a few months ago didnt set it up properly.

It is now spot on, tracks straight and true with the steering being much more responsive. Just goes to show that you can have the best kit but unless you know how to use it, theirs no point.

Thanks for the advice guys and suggesting I get the alignment checked again 👍

All the gear and no idea.

Some people raise an eyebrow that I take my car to a KwikFit near me. But the manager and a lot of the staff are petrol heads. So they get my business for wheel alignments, and usually for tyres too.

Exactly Damo H - I’m struggling to find someone in my area who I can trust to do a 4 wheel check/adjust alignment. Local tyre firms may have the gear but if the operator doesn’t know how to use it then it could actually come back worse than when it went in 😖 Called my local dealer but no surprise they don’t have the kit or do they use the tyre firms in town as they’ve had too many customers come back after a short time with cars pulling all over the place or quickly worn tyres after being adjusted! My search goes on………🔎🤞

I'm fortunate that I have local guy that has the Hunter set up, he knows how to use it and keeps it maintained up to date, he'll suggest alternative set ups away from standard that he knows works, and he's much cheaper than the Kwik F up that's local. Unfortunately not local to you jdubya, someone might pop up with a recommendation.

Interesting, Did they adjust/correct the camber? or just Toe?

This is the place I used to find someone with a Hunter machine. The likes of Kwik Fit aren't listed, but the place it pointed me to for my MINI were sound:

https://alignmycar.co.uk/

Oddly the place I went to with the MINI isn't on there anymore.

It may help though.
