Cupra Terramar interior space feels smaller than Formentor?

As the title states, is the interior space less spacious in the Terramar compared to Formentor? Been driving it for a month, and it felt like there was slightly more room in the Formentor, especially rear leg room.

Yeah, you might be right @Cainy1989, the dash could be brought forward more so we are seated more towards the middle of the car, hence the feel for less leg room. But the again, the rear seats are can be brought forward and backward, currently they are in the max legroom position.
Feels like it would be impossible to have the brought forward and have someone sitting behind front passengers, if more boot space was needed. :D

hey @Sartuzi yes, I had the same feeling, and you're absolutely right, there is less room inside Terramar than Formentor

I wonder, how did CUPRA end up going with this sizing for the Terramar, they could have done a Kodiaq/tayron sized version if they were positioning it to a more family friendly version comparing to a Formentor.

I have twins on the way, so I will need a twin stroller, ISO fix seats etc... so very interesting how I will cope with all that especially when I am 189cm.

It's interesting isn't it. I've moved from an Ateca and despite the Terramar being an overall bigger car, there's a similar (if not smaller) amount of rear leg room. I guess it's because the bonnet is so long. There's plenty for my family though. The figures given for boot capacity are without the boot floor, so the actual dimensions are quite a lot smaller than advertised, probably in line with what they're saying for the new Audi Q3. Interestingly none of the reviews of the new Q3 mention a lack of rear legroom so I'm wondering is something significantly different there. Autugefuel's measurements from the boot lid to the back of the front seats was almost identical in the Audi and Terramar.
