“The CUPRA Tindaya Showcar is not a dream, not even an ambition. This is our CUPRA statement, and it’s going to be a reality. While many move away from the driver, we double down on what matters most – the connection behind the wheel. Our focus will always be on the emotion of driving”.

I think it's meant to replace the Formentor. Or being the flagship of the brand. Tavascan on steroids though. Love the mechanical breathing of the car , hope it won't remain a concept. REx (extended range using the 1.5 TSI to charge) is tempting, the car is supposed to be electric though. Not sure about the engine lineup or versions (no one is atm). Steer by wire, no comments there, hope it will be fine on the twisty mountain roads I was traveling with my Formentor and now my Terramar. Also hope that pricing won't be much above current models, the interior materials seem really high end. The roof of the car is also very futuristic.

I guesstimate that driving experience will be closer to Formentor/Tavascan rather than Terramar. And I hope that most of the radical designs we see today will make it to the final production car. In 4-5 years from now these concepts will be easier to digest.

Loved the diamond shape that gives the new Cupra experience and the connection with the driver via physical and responsive switches.

I don't know how many features will be on the production car, but I like it already. Perhaps the doors will be more mainstream, seats also. Maybe a choice for a "normal" steering wheel. I love the concept though.
