The mirrors are platinum if you want to be picky, but not all of them have them.

The spec changed alot during the Cupra>FR>FR+ crossover, so it's unlikely that you will find exact details unless the car you are after/own is the same as someone elses from the same month of that year.
CD changer is an option, not standard.
As far as I could tell when looking at buying a TDI there is Sweet FA diffrence. Just a crappy looking badge that means nothing. FR seriously means nothing in teh TDI camp, just go out and look for yourself an FR is a cupra they are the exactly the same and have the same options, 90% of the FR's are actually cupra's with badges and the FR's you will find are just the same as cupra's but with rubbish wheels.

I disagree on that...all the FR's i seen have the cupra R bumpers on and the Cupra R alloys but they 17's as appose to the 18's. The Cupras have different bumpers that are half way between the sport and Cupra R ones. well...the ones iv seen anyway? although im not saying there may be others that are different like.

Delock kit was bought from a user on here, but is available from a dealers for under £10, and the flip key was from Ebay.

The FR is no higher in BHP it's a 150 like a cupra 150 is also 150, has the same interior also. Thats from looking at about 30 cars in the last 4 months. They did make a limited edition (FR+) which does come the LCR bodykit and 17" (not 18") wheels and are also badged as FR's but the majority of FR badged cupra TDI's are the same as the none FR badged cars. The options added at purchase change i.e. CD auto changer, electric folding mirrors, cruise control, armrests, but basically most FR's are the same as cupra's except for the FR+ limited run ones which have 17" R wheels and R bodykit.

The R badge does mean something but that's petrol only and no TDI is an R. The R means the petrol has a recaro interior, brembo brakes, more BHP (225), different front bumper + splitter, different side skirts, uprated suspension.

You said the FR means nothing in the TDI camp. You never said it was no different to the Cupra TDI. I could have told you that (i think i might have in one of my earlier posts).
The FR/Cupra TDI is very different to the other TDI's (130, 110, 90 etc) and that was my point.

Why don't we all agree that, as TDI's go, we can assume the following
Cupra TDI = FR TDI (exept wheel design, some mirrors and 6 disc changer)
Styling, power and handling all pretty much the same
FR+, same power and handling, just "looks" like a Cupra R (with 17" rims), plus any extras SEAT had left over before the MkII came out
As Petrols go, well we have
Cupra, = simple styling, 16" rims, 180bhp, pretty quick
Cupra Facelift, = as above, but with 17" Starfish Alloys, Revised front and rear bumpers, white dials, still pretty quick
FR (petrol 180bhp),= as facelift Cupra, with the different wheels, mirrors etc.
Cupra R (210),= 18" rims, recaros, Big front and back bumpers, splitter, and most importantly a little quicker and firmer
Cupra R (225),= as 210 Cupra R pretty much, but again a little quicker
In simplified terms, I reckon thats it.
I'm happy to be corrected if people think I'm not quite right.
We should all be happy that we love these little spanish wonders
