i need some recomendations on places that do custom/live ecu mapping??? also any ideas on prices??????

Where you live might be a good start. Price depends on many things. What mods do you have that warrant a custom map? Chances are any 'custom' map, won't be that custom at all.

in the Oxford area. I'm running fully forged engine, gt3071r turbo with external wastegate, Siemens deka injectors, 4" maf custom front mount intercooler. looking for around the 400 bhp mark

I once had a generic map put on my 130 tdi A4 to find it very aggressive and basically crap to drive without lighting the tyres up, it was a big company and a site sponsor which I took the car back payed the difference and made it a custom map which suited my needs to make it less harsh low down rpm..... So my custom map was much different for the better for my style of driving, so I do believe a good tuner will make a custom map for your needs

I'll second this.

You wont get better custom software for a 20vt from anyone other than Bill or Niki.
