Can I load custom points of interest to my built in sat nav? As I'd really like my speed cameras adding if possible?

There is this http://www.navpoint.co.uk/about.php which works by burning a new DVD with the existing nav data and your custom POI.
After I posted I did more digging, came across that but then found out it won't bing or bong at me which is a bit annoying, it looks like the inbuilt nav is a good idea, but isn't that brill as it won't do a lot of things my stand alone nav will sadly
