I have a dash cam in my car that I want to put in my partners 2016 leon. Do you have one fitted and where have you wited it? . I prefer it to be wired in to an ignition live. Where is best to fit it to?

It is currently stuck to the window and the wire runs around the inside of the window lining and under the middle console to a spare wire that's ignition live. But that's a vauxhall. Where do I do it in the leon?

There are plenty of threads on here or the other VAG forums.

In the first instance, take a look at the guides section pinned to the top of the forum.

Generally people run the wire under the headlining, behind the A pillar on the passenger side and use a piggy-back fuse to a switched live position on the fuse box (behind glovebox on RHD cars).

FYI: I did a lot of research for my rear dashcam, it ended up being wired exactly the same as the front one.
