Daughter’s Seat Toledo Mk II 1.8 20V has compound problems:

Battery drain
Battery died when car not being used, so needed replacement battery – on two occasions (in my garage at the moment on trickle-charger, to avoid having to buy another one!).
Noticed fuel gauge not returning to zero when switched off.

Driver’s door lock not working
Remote locking not working, so having to use key.
Trouble is, driver’s door lock not working, so having to unlock/lock using boot lock.
When trying to unlock driver’s door using key, all windows winding down!

Rainwater flooding car interior
Several occasions, water-logged: causes dealt with by garage include: pollen filter not fitted correctly; door filling with water (new window guide fitted; ‘E-box’ under scuttle above pedals leak remedied.

If you have no luck in here it’s the same car as the Leon Mk1, it’ll be worth asking there as there’s plenty of experience of the door lock and water ingress issues, not sure about the battery drain though but someone might know
