De-cats and sports cats are both illegal for road use, most sports cats will pass MOT emissions tests a de-cat wont.
most people will go for sports cats as i have never heard of anyone gettin in sh*t for them, but as far as im aware they are still not designed for road use. for me de-cat all the way! lol

Depends where you live, i have a mate in london that has been pulled over and checked for cats by VOSA. All they made him do is get a new MOT and take it to his local police station.
a lot easier for the old bill to look under and spot a de-cat pipe instead of a sport cat that just pretty much looks normal.
All depends where you live tbh like i said happens alot in bigger cities and towns but i am yet to see any in my area
never know tho, depends if you want to take the risk or not. i love my decat, wouldnt have it any other way

VOSA can and do road side tests, i have seen them.
