Im after delocking the car wondering if anyone can give me some info, are the leon handles the same as the ibiza, just as Im planing on using Pab's guide if they are (chears pabs) and what is the central locking fuse number?
Update found out it is fuse number 50 for me. Also dropped the fuse testing if it was and couldnt retrieve it so had to buy another one lol 30p well wasted.
You can still lock the car with the key if you have a flat battery, did this when I took the -ve off to reset the ecu, therefore no power going to the car. But if you delock the car then a special key is required..... a brick.
Im going to relocate fuse 50 to into the draw so I can access it from in the car. I will also be keeping the bootlock so if the fuse goes I can just climb through the boot.
very wise, i work in a long stay car park you see i jump start car everyday that have flat batteries, so many people dont realise that they need to get in the car the old fashioned way with the key in the door when this happens. We end up hunting for a door lock as they are hidden on most new cars
getting the cover painted on monday and I will order the relocating parts then as well and drive round with the fuse relocated for a week or so to make sure it works. Then al delock
