I bought my reconned MAF in march and died on me last night. I just this minute called my local Seat Dealer and they said the MAF is under warranty and to bring the car in for testing. Would they refuse to change it as i have a TIP and a Induction Kit?

Even tho my induction kit isnt oiled? You reckon they would void it? I cant see anything on the invoice to say the warranty is void if aftermarket parts are fitted?

But its not fitted to the parts that are standard, and you may find they may argue this. I've seen it on the forums before, if you have the standard airbox it may be worth refitting it, for less hassle.

After driving all the way to Seat (as i was told to go down so they could have a look) they couldnt accept my VAG-COM results and booked it in 15th August :'( to run their own tests so now i gotta put up with a buggered MAF and low MPG until then. They best not bloody charge me!
