Dealers are just pants

Took my car to a Seat dealer garage to check the knocking noise I have in my steering column- i thinks its the bearing.
They said
a) the bearing is not a known part to fail at all
b) They couldnt find anything wrong

There is clearly a fault somewhere in the steering, on my way home I could move the steering wheel up very slightly- with a small knocking noise.

Should I just get them to change the bearing?

Is it a bush?

Mine sometimes does this, it makes a groaning/knocking noise when at parking speeds when I wind a lot of lock on. It isn't the pump whinning as I am not on full lock.

I would like to know what it is as well.

not your arb links?/bushes? Mine knocks like a driveshaft does on full lock, but fine under normal driving
