Hi, I am thinking about buying a 1.9 tdi SE 110 model but all the cars seem to have at least 70,000 miles on the clock...

Would this be a problem or will the engine hold up for many years to come?

Any advice on a price??

Thanks to all.

Thanks for reply

do you know how much a cambelt change would cost?

most of cars are on for about £3500, thats pretty reasonable, isn't t?

I paid slightly more than that for mine just over 9 months ago, but mine was on 16,000 miles when I got it, so price is around about right I think.

As already stated diesels seem to go forever, my last car peugeot 205 diesel had 247k on the clock when I got rid, the wifes 306 has 177k and still going strong. Just make sure the cambelts get changed at the right intervals.
