Diameter , standard exhaust

If you cut the pipe of a standard fr seat Leon exhaust. What would the pipe measure?

Don't know for definite, but its either...2.5" or 2.75"

Probably about 57-58mm width (external) of one pipe. 50mm between center to center of both pipes.

thats what my tsi double pea shooter was. I think its the same as tdi and sport trim tfsi.

to be sure get a pinch type ruler/measure or protractor then measure the gap. (thinking back, i wish i tried that!)

no i meant. if you pick a random place along the exhaust and cut it, what will it measure?

what i was going to do is cut the back box off and get a exhaust clamp off of ebay and clamp a ( right size diameter) pipe to it with a twin exit trim out the bumper.

obviously i'll have to cut a hole out the bumper..................... but now i'm thinking . i cant be arsed messing about. lol

ive heard and read somewhere that the cupra diameter is 2.25

As for a cupra r I have a system that's been cut down and measures 2.5 but I'd say the fr would be the same
