I've searched and read a few threads on this and people seem to either love or hate the diamondbrite.

I've been offered it for £200 including mats and a fulltank of diesel with the purchase of a brand new Leon FR.

I rarely wax a car but run it through a car wash once a fortnight or so, will this treatment be of any use to someone as idle as myself??

Any thoughts appreciated.

If you don't wash & wax your car regularly, then yes, the Diamondbrite will help "seal in" the shine & protect the paintwork for a while.
Bear in mind that a good chunk of that £200 is labour to apply the Diamondbrite, as it takes a few hours to apply correctly. You can buy the kit & apply yourself, but by the sounds of it you aren't that way inclined! :D

you can buy a diamondbrite kit off ebay for about £7 (and thats delivered), and put it on yourself, buy yourself a tank of fuel, and a set of mats, and still have over £100 in your wallet.

dont do it, unless your that idle!!!

It's a standard offer for seat garages. Where I'm buying mine from is with supaguard instead of diamond brite. I agree with chris I wouldn't touch the offer. If you bargain hard enough you could get it thrown in with the car for free.

Cheers lads,

that's good enough for me, it's ebay and elbow grease..

Then carwash :D
