I am looking at fitting a boost gauge in my diesel FR. The problem I have is I am not sure where to plumb in the pipe work on the engine. I have read it my be possible to tap into either the EGR or plastic hose and fit a bleed valve. Any pics would be greatly appreciated.

Hi Dragon, Had this post earlier!! They should all be similar engines so hope this helps, i'll have a look at mine later to see if it makes sense......

I'm sure these are the same as the Fabia PD130.
When I installed a boost gauge in my friends car I tapped into the large black boost pipe running along the left side of the engine, slightly off to one side so that the fitting doesn't foul on anything.

Tis easy. Look down the front of your engine, there's the EGR valve and then a big fat pipe going down. Undo the clips to that pipe and take it off. Get a boost tap (I've got one of you want it) and hammer a hole into the pipe. Fit the pipe, voila.
