Difference between leon FR and cupras turbocharger?

Sorry if the question was allready asked but I recently bought Leon FR Tfsi and plan to do a remap but I just wonder are the turbochargers the same or not.

We are not really clear of the details yet. It is suspected the cupra has the bigger K04 turbocharger rather than the 'K03s' the Sport/FR has.

k03s/K04 would seem logical cos I doubt it would be down to a remap. Interesting to find out what the fr/cupras remap to with their respective engines.

FR/Sport already has a K03s. And these cars can be stage 2 remapped to 270-280.

Nice! Will 300 from the Cupras be a possibility? Stage 1 or 2?

The 2.0TFSI certainly seems to be rock solid. Will it be the new 1.8 20VT though which imo is a engine of legends!

The 300 will definatly be atainable if it has a k04 no doubts. It has indeed replaced the 1.8T matey.

I know it has been confirmed the part no for the turbo on the 30th Anni Golf and the S3 are the same (06F 145 702C) so I would say the Leon is almost certainly going to have the same turbo also.

Evo said in there review this month that they have "an enlarged turbine and compressor in the turbo" but also larger injectors & new cylinder head!
Also strengthened the pistons & con rods
