Late answer but it seems that for some people OBDEleven, VCDS or VCP couldn't update those items, only ODIS-S did the trick.
I have recently replaced my original std infotainment unit with a high one and ran into the same problem. With my original unit, there were two ways of opening instrument cluster customization screen. Now both are gone. My OBDEleven proved useless for this update, the garage will be looking at it with ODIS-S.
