Im going to change all discs and pads in the next week or two and was just wondering what people recommend for 100-150 quid? Ive done a few searches on here and it seems standard on the rear and pagid fr pads and standard brembos on the front. can you still get ate power discs? its a 16v by the way. cheers!

boggo standard rears, trw/febi is what comes from gsf and also what seat used from new. For the fronts if you want more performance the ferodo ds2500 pads and brembo discs.

can second the ferodo ds2500 pads, worth every penny and last for a long time.

DS2500 all the way..... I can't make mine fade, even spent a whole day on a trackday trying to make them fade. I had the paint on my alloys bubble and still no fade thats how hot they were getting!

high there , if you can do a search for a company called carbotech ,, they do pads for a wide range of cars , in the motorsport and track day division good range of pads for everyday driving or fast road , price are great and far better pads than stock or if im honest better than anyothers available for the same money ,

i owned an old evo 1 gsr ,i bought a set of these from him and they were top notch
i didnt need to change disks as the pad upgrade more than did the job
, its worth giving them a nod , he can also take an old set and make up a matching new set of his material he uses
,if theres enough interest he would do a group buy im sure , hth paul ,i know him from the mlr , as i formerly owned an evo 1 as said no other reason ,

thanks for the replies guys, ds2500's seem pretty expensive seen as im not going to do any track days or anything, i just want a bit of an upgrade for 'swift' road driving especially as ill be screaming down to le mans in the the summer :) . has anyone had any experience with black diamond predator pads? they seem to be quite a lot cheaper than ds2500's. i think i need a new front caliper too, the piston was seized and is badly pitted
