Hello,

I saw the lights in de doorhandle off a Golf 8 and i wanted this also on my car. Because this was 1 part of the project i already made a manual so everybody can fitt those.

@Antera I heard you're doing a Kessy entry. I saw ready-made sets for the Golf 8. I also saw a set with glowing door handles. I'm wondering whether to make it myself. Golf door handles probably don't fit. but it is much easier to buy from Formentor.

Golf are the same as leon/formentor /id3

Only kessy is a issue cant figure it out on wich pin to connect on the kessy module and how to code. No adaption for the rear

I dont have acces for your manual door handlees have different number on ETKA. If is the same i will buy on Ali for all door. Tomorrow I'm coming back to Poland from vacation and I'm going to start blind spot. I already have all the parts. later I'll probably take Kessy to the workshop.

so now we are waiting for the extension of this tutorial to launch Kessy? have you mount the antennas and the module somewhere ? Have you changed the module ? what about immo? is obd11 enough? I also have passthru and VCtool and odis S based on this passthru unit

I already have kessy at the front. So dont changed this. Put only rear doorhandles woth kessy and lights and wiring inside the car but dont now where to connect the rear. Iff connect to the front one kessy stops working

No coding needed also for the lights. The connected to the lights in de mirrors

So this manual is for 90% for the lights. But there are no door handles without kessy but with light that is why i have them at the rear also and that is why i want to get those working

Module i got with the handles is 5WA959436Q (Audi Q4) and The module in my car ( with front kessy) is 5WA959436C. So i think my OEM module cant work with rear kessy.

Hi. I don't have keyless entry in my Leon. Yesterday I was making an additional LED in the mirror and I noticed an empty plug. I've already found that this is the place to connect the handle. In addition to the handle, I also saw an antenna for keyless entry in the trunk. Where exactly are the antennas at the front? Maybe I just need to make the handles and the module and the rest is already there?

I dont think that is that easy check gateway to see off module for keyless is there but i dont think so.

I have B module (5WA959436B) with kessy go (i need C or H). I found one antenna when mounting the trailer hitch (at the trunk number 10). where exactly are these front antennas and how many are needed. according to Aliexpress it is enough to add 2 longer ones (number 11 on photo). etka says different. What is number 12 on antera photo ?

Then need coding and more. I hope this will work because new model is not normaly on your VIN en ODIS wont let that module connect iff they toled me correct

I think i have these module recived when i did ordered the door handle's with light

Meiner Meinung nach hat das Steuergerät B7 weder SFD noch CP. Es müsste möglich sein, es ohne ODIs mit VCP auszutauschen

I even watch these auctions. It will be cheaper for me to make such a set in Poland. This is a set of cables from Aliexpress, antennas and clamps in Poland. But I wonder why there are 2 sets of antennas. Number 11 in the photo are those that are on Aliexpress and have the number 5WA 962 131. In turn, in Poland there are a lot of antennas for Leon and Skoda with number 12, i.e. 5WA 962 133 B. The difference is in the note 5F1, i.e. UWB support and transmission frequency 433.92 to 434.42 Mhz. Do I need it?

@Antera which antennas do you have? Do you have 4 from number 12 or 2 from number 11?

@cairus Do you think that my B module will handle kessy ? I have someone who can do Odis and VCP coding for 100e. I have OBD11 pro and passthru head (i have odis and VCP)


edit: Okay, according to ELSA, Leon from 2020 has 2 antennas from number 11 (5WA962131). In ELSA, these are antenna 200 as the left and antenna 201 as the right. Antenna 137 is in the trunk and 138 is inside the car. The yellow-black cable goes to the left door to the handle and the blue-black cable to the right door to the handle. Thats all

I have oem kessy ao dont now where those are in the car. Never seen them when i remove covers from th pijlers when mounting doorhandle lights

I now there is one in the center console because of key finding in the car
