Do anybody know how to remove the passenger side airbag CODE 00589

Do Anybody know how to remove or check the passenger side airbag from the dash, i was driving along on tuesday, it was a long smooth road & the airbag light came on! I got home put my fault code reader on it came back with the code 00589

I Have taken the complete glovebox out but i dont know can i prize the srs cover on the dashboard to get to more torx screw or what?

Please help as it is MOT Time next month

00589 is dash airbag
check the connections to the airbag
clean as best possible and spray with electrical cleaner
also check wiring in kick panel

Ok thanks, ive checked the yellow block connector it is dry (im one of the luck ones as my car does not leak any water in)

Is the kick panel the plastic bit that runs along the bottom of the passengers side door, which helps the carpet in place?

Airbag came today with the courier at 4pm fitted & knocked the light off with a cheap faultcode reader off fleabay, all done by 5pm happydays!
