Do I Need To Reset?

Hello everyone.

My car has been off the road for the last 2wks doing nothing as it's being resprayed. It's probably been started once since then just to role it into the workshop and start the work. Anyway, I just want to know if I should reset the ECU by disconnecting the battery for 10mins so it runs nicely when I get it back or is 2wks not enough for this?

Car is Stage 1 by the way, it won't screw up my map will it?

No the map is embedded into the ECU, i wouldn't bother, just drive it

If you do make sure you have the stereo code

Thanks Lee, i'll warm her up and give her a blast . I hate not driving a car for a prolonged period, it feels weird getting back into it and my aggressive mapping takes a few miles to get the hang of.

Stereo is after-market .

If battery is flat or been removed you need to do TBA really.

If the bateery is flat, or been taken off then yes, if battery is fine and got juice no. same as going on holiday for 2 weeks and coming back get in it and drive.

Well it's won't have been disconnected so that'll be ok, just hope the cold weather hasn't taken it's toll on the battery and killed it. I should find out this weekend
