Do U really know your history

How many of you have actually Hpi checked and read all the plates and engine numbers on the car etc before buying it??

I always get an AA inspection done before i buy a used car, whether its from a dealer or private sale.

Yup sure did when i got mine. I have a mate that works alongside a dealership so manage to get it for free My sisters ex boyfriend had his handsburnt with a escort cosworth so i learnt from his mistake!

Ah get some one else with the know how to do a physical inspection you mean? I did none of the sort, my car turned out to be a previous write off through a total loss claim so dear knows wat sorta shape it was in..
Must be bad luck with the car as i have been reversed into twice in the past month, the front bumper has started to reveal a bit of what must be ovni yellow A replacment front bumper is a must

As part of the AA inspection they also do an HPI check.

Unsure, ~£100, check the AA website.

Always would HPI check, worth the 30 quid. I'd never buy a car without doing it.

Same here for my last 2 cars and best £40 spent as gives you piece of mind (to a point). Have always checked the numbers match aswell.

yeah I had mine RAC checked all over and they did a HPI check as well, definately worth doing I think!
