dodgy trip computer

right my car has just hit the 300 mile mark,

i put 30 quid in, and reset the trip, know my car has done 373 miles, yet my trip is at 84
a 11mile difference.

anyone else experienced this, or maybe its a different setting, got a quick fix, or is it off to the dealers for me

you on trip #1, or trip #2?
the 11 miles sounds like the delivery milage and the dealer may have reset all trips before handing the car to you.
obviously the odometer cant be reset, so its easy to get things confused until you get familiar with things.

read my post again, i reset the trip to 0, at 300 on the mileage, the mileage has gone up to 373, the trip is on 84, a 11 mile difference, since i reset to 0

that does seem odd yes. Keep an eye on it.

read mine again.
did you reset trip #1, #2, or both?

With so few miles on the clock I recommend you re-set everything at your next fill.
