Any dog owners use a dog gaurd or something similar? Ive never had a dog before but its something I need to get so any advice on it would be great.

I usually find the wife sitting in the passenger seat is ok, just make sure her seat belt it on! Lol

My sister has just got a dog guard fitted to her 5 door,once I've got to 15 posts I'll post a few pics.
Edit: She isn't in at the moment so I can't ask her what make it is, but it looks like it's the one you can get from halfords - Advanced mesh headrest guard.
