Door Card

Hi Guys,

Got to take off a mk 4 door card today, anyone give me a qick step by step guide?

1, Remove covers from doorhandle. If on Drivers side, remove electric window switches. The whole plastic piece comes off an feels like it will snal, just be careful

2, Remove surround from lock indicator.

Pop off speaker grille and remove speaker (torx bolts). Remove torx bolt from behind the speaker.

Remove 2x nuts or bolts (can't remember) from door handle

Have a look for any torx bolts I have forgotten

pop out the clips from the door, push card up out of channel and Its off

Hope this helps

You doing a window regulator by any chance

Ahh!! im changing a speaker so you dont have to take the card off to do this!!! AWESOME!!

No worries.

Pretty sure thats the way.

If not, it will do for a 306 cabriolet, after I had 2 rindow regulators go in a couple of days.

Got my toledo in work today so can't check.

Having doubts now...
