Door lock module help!

Hi guys!

I have a faulty front passenger side door lock module. I was looking on ebay for a new one however couldn't find any for our model, only the mk1...

Can anyone post a link of the one they have bought please? I assume the golf mk5 ones will fit but any links would be greatly appreciated!

Surely it must be the same part as the mk5 golf?!

The part number for the Golf is essentially the same, but with a few options depending on the PR code. I'm not sure what difference this makes.

Go onto 1st choice spares, it checks national scrap yards for the parts and gives you a list of places and prices for the part you're after. I was getting quotes around 40 quid for lock module for my FR

Take a look on Partsbase http://www.partsbase.org/seat/ for your correct door module code.

I think it's about time that SEAT acknowledge a problem with these fecking door modules being faulty. There are numerous threads on SCN with issues.
