Just want to check this out to make sure it's not a "they all do that sir". When I fold the door mirrors on my Leon the drivers side has a gap of a couple of mm to the door glass, the passenger side seems to actually touch the glass. Only noticed it today and now I can't 'unsee' it 🙄. Anyone else have this or is it a trip to the dealer to get it adjusted?

This had came up before already. It seems to be normal.

Potential it is related that driver side vs passenger side have different angle with the driver.
They use the same motor and to give the same movements they rotated the bracket more. That causes that the rest is also turned more.

Unknown. But if you have left driven car and swap the mirror with a right driving car.
Only on one side the gap is the same. But you loose in movement to adjust the mirror correctly.

You'll also notice it when you wash the car/windows (I wash my cars!) and the gaps between the mirrors and glass are different. I also originally thought there was a problem on my previous MK4.
