I've had their Seat Sport versions for about 14 months now. They have always stayed bright and shiny, clean really easily with just a wet cloth and have never come un stuck once stuck down (Make sure you stick them down in the correct place first time as they will never come unstuck again !!).

My Seat dealer even asked where I got them when I went in for the first service and I told them that they were genuine Seat bits from Seat Europe !

im after some door sill guards for my fr,
iv seen these wondered if any one had bought and fitted them

also would like to hear if you'd wish you bought the non fr ones that cover more of the sill

and last but not least, are they available from any where in the uk for a similar price,i can only imagine the dealers would have my eyes out

thanks

That company has an eBay store and ships to the UK. http://myworld.ebay.co.uk/tuning-art-com/?_trksid=p4340.l2559 I was looking at those last week. I already have the official Seat covers for the plastic parts of the sill, got those on eBay for £33, RRP at the time was £80!

I've got the FR ones mate, go for it, they look good!

Can I just ask, what are the purpose of these? Are they to look nice, or do they actually protect anything worth protecting?

The larger metal ones are good for stopping scuffs and scratches. Not sure about the effectiveness of the smaller strips though.

Pretty much the same thing really. I got mine off Ebay but they were pretty crap.

I fitted them fines thanks Scott :p haha

Yeah those were the ones actually. Might give some others a go in that case!

To be fair I didn't actually use the 2nd part for the front, just the long, main strip - I found they didn't stick very well at all. And they just didn't look that great on my car.

Might look into getting some metal/chrome ones instead.

Couldn't edit my last post so had to do a second one!

I thought that, but I'm struggling to find a situation where they'd ever need protecting lol. On the cars I've owned, there's never been any scuffs/scratches there.

Depends how clumsy your passengers are. And I park in a garage where space is tight, so I can run my feet over the sill and not worry about damaging it.
