Here is an article about the use of premium diesel fuels and the effects it has on the DPF, problem is it in dutch:
http://sync.nl/huidige-roetfilters-ongeschikt-voor-nieuwe-generatie-diesels/
Conclusion is that fuels like v-power, ultimate etc have a negative effect on the DPF, due to the higher burn temperature in comparison to normal diesel. More fine soot is produced which then clogs up the DPF causing it to regenerate constantly or causing the car to go into limp mode.
Best thing is to tank normal diesel when running a DPF, also when the car has any kind of remap the problem is exaggerated.
