Probably already a thread on this but couldnt find a recent one 2014 about dpfs bein able to go through mot? Is there any new rules? Got a 2006 leon fr170 dpfs been removed havent got a delete pipe.

A note being though that an MOT tester I believe can't remove any of the plastic undertray gubbins so they can't actually get to have a proper look I don't think.

Don't know mate in honesty I'm not down with the diesels so I'm just repeating what I've seen written by people on here in previous threads about the same issue.

But what about your insurance though? Surely if you declare the mod, you are admitting to driving an unroadworthy car. And if you don't declare it, you are uninsured. How do you get round that one?

No matter how stupid, pointless, restrictive and damaging dpf's are, you still don't want to fall foul of the law.

Not what you want to hear I know.
