Dpf issues one year on

Was wondering when the dpf issues would happen.

So the car on the way to work today went into limp mode loss of power etc.

Got it the audi vw seat specailist near to were i live. Did a diagonostic and found two faults.

One pressure sensor gone and the other says particualte trap bank 1 efficency below threshold.

Bloke there was saying the stuff i already read on here ie can cost 1k to fix etc.

So basically i can get the car recoverd to seat thanks to this etc warrenty i have when i bought the car. Is there a direct number i can get hold off. As the guy there was saying i need to try and find this as it cud save me money.
What would you guys surgest. Any help would be very welcome.

Well i drove it to jbs auto design to today and the dpf is broke beyond repair. So i went for the dpf delete option. Somthing i was unsure of really but a good decsion i think in the long run.

God damm seat what a mess this dpf is.

How old is the car? I believe anything registered after a couple of years ago needs to have its DPF intact if it's going to pass MOTs from summer 2011...

I'd like to know more on this issue as i'm looking at having it done, i'm constantly getting the light on every week. My car is 57 plate.

You wont be able to till The Government, DVLA, VOSA or whoever makes the rules decides what there doing

My car is a 56 plate few days time it will be 4 years old. So i am preying it will be safe for this dpf rule.

Its all done i can pick it up today but i cant. So 2moro morning i can tell u guys how it feels and that.

Just to top it all off though. I knew a couple of things would come up on inspection but i know there not serious. Reverse light is broke and its not the bulb lol. Right front break disc is eroding a little bit and the tracking is out again.

Been a bit of a nightmare this car. Would seem i am keeping it alot longer than planned.

Not sure if it's too late goose, but there is a GB running at the place where you are going too. Mention it to Seb and mention my name and he may include you in the deal?

Yeah mate. Give them a call and see what Seb wants to do. May charge you full price and then refund you the difference when we book ours? I believe this is what Scooby250 has done as I think that his is booked in for this week or next?
