Had my car serviced here a couple of times, the last time was the final straw, I got the keys and had a good look all round my car to see if they had marked any of the paintwork before leaving there premises, got round to the drivers side and there was oil all over my door handle and my side skirt, thanks to the messy technician who had worked on my car. So I went back to reception and got them to clean the whole car. Bit petty maybe but I always clean my car before going to the garage so I expect it back the same. I then started using the Seat Skoda garage in Hereford, friendly bunch and accomadating. But they are no longer so I use a local garage now.

I used the Saab side of the service desk for many years, they had some good money off my lease company and must say found the staff friendly, especially Liz, to be honest they did take the mickey with repairs on the car (i think) brake discs and pads every service, little bits and pieces that the lease company just agreed to most of the time, the last service it went to there the Lease Company actually sent another garage to pick the car as they wanted £3500 to put it through its service. (55 plate Saab 9-3 with 100k on it). Only ever brought parts form my LCR and they seem ok for that, they did me a scary quote for my rear discs and pads on the LCR.

I did work at Clarks, would have been better coming over to Kidderminster, would have updated the coding on your BCM, checked the battery as per bulletin and replaced if required ;)

Starting at Startin Skoda, Powick next week, so if you need a service ;)

Having a great time with Droitwich seat/saab at the moment :p. I love my car and never regretted my purchase. My story so far:

Purchase the car, sales were helpful and were great at getting my car ready.

1st week the cigerette lighter didnt work. So rang in and got it booked in for saturday. Drove down there and told it needs a part. So go away and come back next week for it to be fitted. Wrong part was ordered . Went away again and came back the following week for finally the right bit put in.

I needed this as trying to use a satnav in london for the week was a nightmare with no car 12v.

2nd fault about 2 weeks into owning the car. Drove to work stopped at an office on the way got in my car turned the ignition nothing happened. So put the car in reverse roll down the car park and it starts first time. Drove to my office stopped the car then tried to start it and same again. Opened bonnet to find remain of my starter lead.

Rang Droitwich garage to ask what can be done. After 30mins of on and off the phone they wanted to pick the car up as my RAC cover hadnt gone through (leaving no transport home). I would of been happy if theyd sent any old garage to re crimp the wire as thats all it needed. In the end I called the RAC on my own policy and they recrimpt it.

3rd fault. Rang droitwich grage to enquire about why I had no warning sounds. So they ask me to bring it in which I did. They say it needs a new speaker box and they want to put a proper crimp on the RAC repair. Yet again they have to order the parts so I go away again. Get a phone call from Customer Services. Book it in for the Saturday. Tuesday before Saturday they ring wanting it in for Friday because of the warranty etc.

I explain this is impossible for me to do as I work and for them to go and think about it. They do and offer to pick up my car from Worcester. I accept this due to also owning a motorbike. I take 1hr flexi they pick it up and I go to work. I get a phone call saying my cars been dropped off but they couldnt fix the speaker box. ARRRRGH thats the bit I wanted replaced, nothing wrong with the starter motor cable that could wait.

So the car is going back again on the 18th to have the speaker box replaced. After I chased it up bearing in mind.

Awfully sorry about the long rant but this is all getting abit silly the amount of times its been there and not been completed. Its a shame my dad has his saab maintained there and he has no issues.

Techie i live just next to that Skoda Garage. You may of spotted me heading to work in the morning as I pass it everyday. Just out of interest does that skoda garag do Seat vehicles, being part of the same VAG group? It would be nice to drive 1 mile rather than 20 if it needs work doing.

Nah, its now Fownhope Mitsubishi, but as they kept all the diag kit like vas 5051, and tools, they decided to keep them and become not just a mitsi dealer but skoda/seat specialists, and im vag trained at a local audi dealer, so now there :) but as not a dealer, we cannot do warranty work, just service / repairs
