Hey guys and girls,

Hope everyone is getting on with there mk2's just fine!

I have a slight issue it may be myself but I don't know something has been buggin me for a while. Had my seat leon 1.9 tdi for about a year and a half now and all of a sudden I put my foot down and there is no power there. It feels "sluggish" I know it's a diesel and I know the acceleration is not great but I'm sure it used to be better than what it was. It could just be me getting used to the pull of the car I suppose but was wondering if anyone else was experiencing these problems. I've cleaned out all the injectors and changed oil regularly and all the maintenance of it is carried out on time. The only problem I think it could be is the air filter... I've not changed it in a while and have a feeling that the engine isn't getting enough air into it as the filter could be blocked... Any ideas guys?

Cheers,

Lee

P.s there will be a progress thread to come!!

Unplug the MAF sensor. If performance is better with it unplugged, it's faulty.

Also change the air filter
