Hi guys,

Last night I drove through some quite deep (about 1 foot) flood water (flash flood in Worcester!) at the time I didn't think much of it, but today I think my LCR has lost a bit of grunt. :(

I've only had the car 4 days, so it could just be me acclimatising to the power, or could the water have interfered with something?

Mid-rev range seems fine, but I seem to lose boost at high revs.

Perhaps just being paranoid...

can't the cat(s) get knackered on extremely quick cooling such as driving through water?? Just a thoughts, although probably not the case here...

lambda sensors and wiring can get wet, did you get the engine light on the dash?

Didn't get any lights or warnings, and the car didn't splutter.

The power seems to have returned - I reprogrammed the ECU back to stock, and went blasting up a local dual-carriageway (which has been getting a lot of pounding this week!), turned into an industrial estate and then reprogrammed for some Revo action - the power was certainly there this time - far more grunt than earlier on.

Perhaps something up with the ECU?

Reprogramming perhaps reset some sensor?
