For those running dtuk crd3+ boxes on the 184 tdi engines what setting would you recommend that gives the best mpg?

May not be the most helpful of answers but just wondering, if you're running a tuning box why be so concerned over mpg? Just curious really.

Just out of interest what are people finding is the best map for mpg sure all the maps give an impressive increase but if I can gain a few mpg or no worse off when cruising then it’s all good

I find Map 1 gives the best mpg and Map 3 the worst, but the differences are not enormous. I have run 1.1, 2.1 and 3.1 for fairly long periods, with average, real world and not car display, mpg of 51, 50 and 48 approx. respectively. Others post higher mpg figures, but I can’t get them.
I tend to favour 2.1 or 2.2, with how it feels outweighing mpg, but mapping preferences are very subjective and individual engines seem to prefer different settings.

I seem to get limp in any setting at map 1 even in the -
And map 2 will Only run on -2

Cool, fair enough. It's typical of maps to get some kind of mpg gains but typically obviously this is a by product if the reason you bought it in the first place. Just a bit of a bonus really.

Nice to have the power on tap, but I don’t always use it
