For the price of the bearing most places recommend replacing at the same time.

its a area which is often overlooked and left unchanged as people try to save money. normally it will outlast a clutch setup and quite possibly two, if we are talking standard car/clutch set up. but the question you need to ask yourself is, is it worth the risk not changing it as if it needs replacing it will be a gearbox out job so essentially you'll pay twice. its not an expensive part so i would suggest doing the change unless you can be sure its been done recently.
