Forgive me for sounding daft but what is a ''throw out bearing'' ??

It is the bearing that take the load to the pressure plate to relase the clutch when you press the pedal

No think it's separate. Depends on the seller really, if they bundle one in.

Yeah I believe so.

its a area which is often overlooked and left unchanged as people try to save money. normally it will outlast a clutch setup and quite possibly two, if we are talking standard car/clutch set up. but the question you need to ask yourself is, is it worth the risk not changing it as if it needs replacing it will be a gearbox out job so essentially you'll pay twice. its not an expensive part so i would suggest doing the change unless you can be sure its been done recently.
