Hello peeps, my lc makes very load dump noise when changing gear and whooshs loud under throttle. It is total standard and has done this the hole time I have owned it. Is this normal? I ask this as one came past me while I was out walking, when it changed gear there was no dump noise.

Sounds like you either have a cone filter or aftermarket dump valve.

All standard stuff, no mods anywhere. My engine management light has been on since I've had the car to, might I have a boost leak?
Mine was pretty loud when one of the two hoses blew off the intercooler hardpipe going across the top back of the engine to the turbo but saying that it didnt drive too well either until i refitted it, check all your hoses for splits
I've never driven any other lcs to compare it against so don't know if its down on power but it does drive smooth.
After having a good look round I have found a split vacume hose. Going to replace with silicone hose, am I right in saying they are 4mm?
