Duplicate track names on SD card

Hi

Have dumped a number of MP3 tracks from ITunes onto an SD card and although they play through the system (2012 RNS E/Bose ) I get duplicate track names showing on the screen.

First group show up as corrupted files when I try to select them but the second group with duplicate names select and play without any problems.

Have read through all the posts about SD cards that I can find but wondered if anybody else had seen anything like this before. Tracks were all ripped from CD's rather than downloaded from I Tunes and when I check on the SD card itself it only shows up one set of tracks.


I can live with it but I'm curious to know what's happening.

Ah great link - I've had the same issue with the RNS510 in my Leon, glad to know it's the mac thats causing it.

Thanks very much for the link, wondered if it was the Mac creating hidden files but hadn't had time to check. Like the car after years of company Mondeos but it'll take time to understand all the quirks of the RNS system
