I have been running my company Leon Cupra 150 Tdi for over 3.5 years now and it has 130000 miles on the clock.

May opt out of the car scheme, as company no longer offer Seats, and VW and Audi are overprice equivalents that I will pay more tax on.

Does anyone have an idea on what my car might cost to buy? Lease company normally sell the cars at midway between trade and private sale values. Car is Jan 2004 on a 53 plate in the metallic grey (if colour makes a difference).

I would give info on the condition, but lease company do not take this into account (unless it is a complete wreck, which it is not).

Does anyone have any thoughts?

Thanks

I bought my current car when it was just over 3 years old with 105,000 miles on the clock for roughly 5 grand, and that was from a lease company...

Best bet is to contact the lease company direct as they have formula all worked out... then you start bartering! ;o)

Thanks for the reply, £5k seems realistic, I'm hoping I might get it down to around £4k. Would be a lot of car for £4k, although mileage is high, but I've been the only driver, so know its history.

Fingers crossed for a good price.
Cheers
