as already said go for alpha bid on ebay, your link im sure I have heard there have been probs.

i know 100% that this combo works as i and others have it!

tho like i said, this £16 cheapo cable http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/USB-VAG-COM-40...QQcmdZViewItem may work but do you want the hassle to find out?!

the seller says money back guaranty but it will be hassle!

I also recommend Alpha-Bid as a vag-com cable source.They are also very helpful with the after sales service.

the cables off alpha bid are very good and I have had no probs with mine at all, it is a good third party cable.

No idea if you can with the 3rd party cables, but it's easy enough using the genuine one.

my cable works with CC software! iv played with the software despite being mapped by jabba!

you cant turn it off like revo etc, but u can change the turbo load factor (boost!)
