depends if your pc only has usb (com ports are easier to setup and run)
you can get them cheaper than 29 quid too, mine was 14.99 plus postage.
have a search too, these have been discussed a lot recently.

but cable and software is all you need (and a lap top)

this is the one i bought, price has dropped a little too, if your laptop has a serial port (9 pin) then id recommend this one as ive had no bother with it and the cable is plenty long enough.
software wise, you can download a trial copy from the rosstec site or someone on here can email it to you (trial that is, full copy needs paying for off course!)

i got my software from the ross tech site free

although my cable works i plug it in and cant do a full diagnostic!

my cordy wont start and its killing me tryin to find out whats up!?

immobiliser and key not communicating? ignition ring could be a possibility.

i bought a seriel lead from ebay last week, 12quid for lead but 8quid postage made them their money

though they also said it would be shipped from uk when it turned up it had been shipped from the states
still it works fine and does its job
