Obviously you know better than EBC, and after deciding that you know best and killing the pads on the track, you are then still entitled to slate the product.
If you don't like something just say so, but don't make sweeping statements because of your own lack of care

ebc may know loads about there kit... but how many seats have they driven on track?

Not sure what that has to do with the price of fish?
was talking pads. not fish;)
you suggested somebody knew more about ebc pads than ebc do. point im making is they could be brilliant on one car but not so good with others. heavy front, temps, disc having a big effect.

because when I drove mine on track with greenstuffs the backing fell off

I get what the two of you are saying, but its not fair to slate EBC for Green Stuff not being up to the job on track, when they were never designed to go on track. There is even a disclaimer in the box which clearly states not for motor-sport use.

Everyone on here likes Eagle F1s, but if some one drove them on snow and then posted on here that they were crap, they would be shot down for slating a good product when they were not using it as the manufacturer intended.

Everyone is entitled to their opinion. But if someone asks for advice, then reply but make sure it is relevant. That is all i was trying to say.

As for calling their products sh@@, i believe the admins have warned about making such libelous comments before.

although youve a valid point in that there not designed etc.. i`m struggling to think of a fair test other than track. if i wanted info on pads id be very interested in peoples track experience as it shows how well the perform under pressure. i felt it was relevant:shrug:

its all just opinions:)

just been informed that the airfilter brand ive run for 4 years wouldnt be reccomended , yet id reccomend them to anyone:lol:

If you speak with EBc technical and say you will be using Green on a leon they will say dont.

Way too soft a pad for the vehicle.
Reds for heavier/more powerful cars.

The Reds/yellows wear disks a lot more than DS2500/3000's from personal experience.
there "feel" is somewhat dead, and the first pedal application does not yield great bite. once a little heat is in there, they're better. They are not in the same class as DS2500/3000 pads however and cannot be by definition of meeting reg 90, which means at best they can only be up to 15% higher friction coefficient than std pads, where Ds2500/3000 exceed that, hence bite better.

I am an EBC reseller, but I do not from choice advise ebc pads, when DS2500's work far better, work out kinder to disks, and give a higher level of braking.

I can supply them however, but I would not sell you Greens as thats simply wrong.
