Mines rattled from brand new, so even if you replaced the actuator there's no guarantee you won't get the same problem again.

I tune it out, nothing is going to happen - it's just annoying.

Hi,

When you say nothing is going to happen, does that come from a hopeful or from a mechanical standpoint?

I may be being a little dramatic however I am seriously beginning to regret my decision to buy this car, as this ECO seems like a disaster waiting to happen

It's been exactly the same, no worse since new and it's done 14k miles now, so unlikely to deteriorate. From other threads it seems fairly common (or completely missing) on this engine and without any turbo disasters at all.

I'm not impressed with ECO either, it's clunky and intrusive even when it isn't rattling, for the tiny fuel saving I'd rather they hadn't bothered inventing it.

Can they not release an update to just completely bypass it?

It does seem to be an all or nothing thing: we've had a Leon EcoTsi in the family for over a year now and every time I drive it I'm amazed at how often the cylinder on demand technology kicks in and how, other than the telltale on the dash, there is no way of telling it has engaged or disengaged.

Hi everyone I am in need of some help.. I am in need of a headlight washer cap for the driver side.. does anyone have one which I can buy or know where I can buy it? Thanks

Seat totally avoiding to replace the turbo no matter how badly rattle. The actuator rattle not the rod outside.
However arrogant way happy to tell f@ck off and that it.

Dear Mr Xxx

Further to our telephone call on 19 September, I can confirm that SEAT UK are unable to forward any videos to a German Master Technician. This is because we rely on the information supplied by our Network of Approved SEAT Dealers and would not look to overturn their decision regarding diagnosis.

During our telephone conversation, I did confirm that if you are unhappy with the outcome from the previous diagnosis that was carried out, you are entitled to take it to another SEAT Dealer for a separate opinion however, this decision may not change.

I appreciate this is not the outcome you had hoped for and I would refer you to The Motor Ombudsman, a CTSI certified Alternative Dispute Resolution Provider that we are happy to engage with through the ADR procedure. I have provided their contact details below:

Motor Ombudsman advice line: 0345 241 3008

Website: www.themotorombudsman.org

Address:

Thank you for taking the time to contact SEAT UK.

Yours sincerely
