Is this a group buy? The ecu is sealed anyway, so unless it's been opened (which it shouldn't) what is the need of this?

i think he means cover to the ecu box itself, can have moisture issues, a couple of people have had trouble with theirs without opening the ecu itself

unfortunately, damage can occur, even when the unit has never been opened. the plug part is abit exposed.

its a good idea, however production costs are always the big issue.

i was gonna do it phil but maybe we could both put our heads on it!?

all it needs is a 5 sided box (bottom being the open side) and aslong as the sides come below the ecu it should work a treat!?

ive been told not to wrap ecu up as it needs to breathe!? there is a small breather on top of the ecu (the round bit in the middle) but dont hold me to that!

price dependand i like the idea!

Try copying the list and add your name to it.

Speak to Gav aswell regarding this, he's good with design.

I've got sheet metal at home, so can do it myself. no need fot it to be shiney, as its under cover.

Hooch, i was thinking the same, with possibly a tab on the underside just for some extra protection.

I'll draw it up this weekend and post it up here.

Come on Tom, i'm a CAD Designer, you know that.
