Can i just ressurect this thread to ask:-

What's the ride like with the sportlines on compared to o.e on the Cupra/LCR please!??

I'm thinking about maybe doing this for a better stance as the o.e ride height is a little excessive, but i really don't want to ruin the ride quality or make it as harsh & crashy as my FN2 CTR was cos that daft!!!!

So im confused with these diffrent springs not lowering the car at all, i have a 2007 leon cupra i want a drop about 35mm all round what springs should i be looking for to get this right?

I'm in the same boat mate, just want something around the 30mm mark also.

To begin with i was advised the Eibach Pro kit (-30mm all around) but then was informed it doesn't lower the FR at all. I find this hard to believe as the FR sits like a bus as standard.

Fitting

I've heard the fronts are bit of a nightmare to fit, can anyone send a link to a guide to fitting? Of course I'll be waiting 'til the snow clears as I'm not wanting to run a plough!

Pro-Kit...if you plan on fitting them and not Sportlines...

Prepare to be disappointed! From experiencing it's no good whatsoever!

I would only recommend Eibach Sportlines (For lowering springs), Maybe H&R's but Sportlines for sure!

I had pro kit fitted and regret it. Every time I look at the car I wish I had gone with sportlines. Personally my verdict is to go with sportlines or keep it standard, pro kit is not worth the money.

Pics jarre, have you got your wheel powder coat Done?

All my pictures are crap so far!

Wheels are currently in the place to be powder coated! Gone for gun metal grey with satin finish. Undecided on satin or gloss though... Will be picking them up Friday/Saturday and getting the asymetric 2's put on too. Then the wheels fitted to see what they look like.

More than likely the winter tyres will be back on straight away though due to the weather :(
