Wouldn't the mirrors fold out when you start the car by default. Could be wrong.

They fold out automatically once you hit about 15kph or there abouts (from memory) as a safety feature but they won't fold back up again afterwards, you have to manually open and clsoe them again (or just rotate the knob about 25degrees (til you feel it start to resist and want to click into position) then let it spring back, usually does the trick)

reading the above id thought id say something to ,i just bought a 2012 sportrider and we have to manually turn the mirrors in and out,ive not seen any auto mirror when the key is turned, surly this isnt possible as if you had a tight garage and needed mirrors in theyed reset outward when driving in and out, if there is a way of making them auto id like to know please, i recall my bro inlaw having a fiesta they worked on the remote when u unlocked the car and same when locked they looked cool lol

Just tried driving with mirrors in the up (parked) position. Got up to 50MPH and they didn't fold out! lol Maybe this only applies to certain models of Ibiza?

Mine only fold using the crap knob, the handbook states that they fold for when you are using a car wash, nothing about parking though.

Nope mine don't do it either so not sure where I got that idea from!
Could've sworn they did, must've been a courtesy car then. Ooops.
